Kait: *looks to see if Denny's sells cheesecake*
Me: But also pizza.
Kait: *goes to the Little Caesar's website
Me: Kait, it might be easier if we just like went to McDonald's.
Kait: Yes, Holly, because McDonald's now sells both cheesecake and pizza. What McDonald's do you go to?
Me: ...the good one...
@holly: The keys are on the counter. Someone, somewhere, is selling cheesecake.
her little smile in the 2nd one omg
i know you’re tired and stressed and exhausted and your brain physically hurts (who knew it could actually hurt, right???) and you just want to stop drinking coffee and put your head down and if you have to look at a computer screen or a word doc or a set of math problems, you’re going to explode.
but take care of yourself, k?
drink a bottle of water in between cups of coffee, get some sleep (seriously, you’ll be more focused and productive on at LEAST a few hours of sleep compared to none or one), rely on study groups and don’t procrastinate too much.
you are almost done. summer is almost here, school is almost over. those fics you want to read and those shows you want to watch now will be waiting for you when you’re done with school.
keep going and good luck!
It turns out that by watching Vlogbrothers videos during my study breaks this week, all of my usual ‘Harry Potter quotes that don’t really fit but they do at the same time’ have become ‘John Green quotes that don’t really fit but they do at the same time.’
Congratulations, John Green. You appear three times in my essay about the Inkhorn Controversy.

fandom: haha that's awesome and hilarious and look how progressive a man expressing friendship with another man with a kiss that's great and it's so funny when Rory doesn't like it.
the Doctor: *kisses Jenny, a gay married girl who obviously has no romantic interest in the Doctor and doesn't want the kiss*
fandom: that's so sketch and horrible and oppressive she doesn't want you kissing her gtfo Doctor and Moffat's obviously sexist even though he didn't write this episode.
sane part of fandom: ...do you people not see what you just did.
Why, hello there.
I’m sure you’ve seen these floating around the internet, and I couldn’t be more excited. These LeakyCon Signature Boards are one of my favorite crafting creations ever concocted, and there’s still time to get one before LeakyCon Portland or LeakyCon London!
But I must tell you a secret - the game has changed.
A few days ago, I very abruptly and unexpectedly lost my job. While I am scrambling for a new one, I’m also trying to keep the plans alive that I made before I lost this job. Namely, the Darren Criss concert in NYC. I have a ticket, and I have a most wonderful friend who is to accompany me on this journey, but, at the moment, it’s being pretty much torn away.
So I have a favor to ask of you all.
If you think that this might be something totally awesome that you’d like to take with you to LeakyCon, I would very much appreciate you taking a look. It’s an affordable and convenient souvenir to take home from convention and it’s one that you will treasure for many years to come.
And you’ll be helping me pay for airfare and food, which is just a giant cookie on top of the sundae of glitter and gratitude I’ll be cooking up for you.
Take a look at the Etsy, reblog, share with your friends. For those of you who have ordered from me in the past, or even the ones thinking about it right now, thank you.
